With a curious and sensitive spirit, Nuvola is a dancer, teacher, choreographer and independent curator. Seamstress of her career and her profession, she is currently based between Bologna, Ostuni (Italy) and Australia.

A competitive gymnast until she came of age, at twenty she began looking for tools to soften the gymnastic rigor and discover another type of poetry of the body. Arriving at dance, she finally found the tool that allows her to integrate thought with critical action. , immersed in reality, in everyday life. Graduated in Cultural Anthropology, she obtained a Master's degree in Art Theater Counseling. As a dancer she weaves a nomadic and independent formation between Europe and America. In 2007 he met Frey Faust and began dedicating himself full time to the study of the Axis Syllabus. He progressively becomes more and more actively involved in the Network, curating events in Italy and Europe; from 2014 to 2020 he is part of the Nomadic College Team, an annual and international intensive training event in Axis Syllabus. Certified Axis Syllabus teacher since 2018, she is invited to lead workshops in Europe (France, Austria, Luxembourg, Spain, Greece). In 2020 she founded BroadBand, professional training in Axis Syllabus together with colleagues Frey Faust, Francesca Pedullà and Baris Mihci. In 2022 she founded Humus Professional Dance training through Contemporary tools, of which she is director and teacher.

As a dancer she works for various choreographers, including: Dehors/Audela; Societas Raffaello Sanzio; Barbara Elia; PopOpera company; Diane Mc Carthy; Malleable Dance Theater Company; for several years he collaborated with the Compagnia del Pratello (Bo), and with the Baba Jaga Association.

In 2014 she met Claudia Dias, who followed her as a mentor in her first solo creation, Silence?, and introduced her to Real Time Composition, founded by the Portuguese choreographer Joao Fiadeiro. Thus began his path of independent artistic and curatorial production through the logic of the CTR and the Axis Syllabus. Since 2014 he has created and curated interdisciplinary study days such as FestinaLente; and Scie Festival of which she is artistic director in collaboration with ASIRN; contexts in which science and art, thought and practice meet, exchange and integrate perspectives. In 2020, the need to consolidate his path of creation and production emerged, so he founded the Associazione Architetture di Corpi, a container in which different perspectives, tools and formats converge, which through the movement of the body, ask questions and investigate the man and his landscapes. Within this frame, it produces various shows, presented among others at: Festival InTeatro (Polverigi); Maldà en Dansa Festival (Spain); Poetry i + Festival (Spain); Ridotto Theater of Bologna; 40zero54 Contemporary dance devices Festival (Italy); DanceWood Festival (Italy); Akropoditi DanceFest (Greece); Teatro dell'Archivolto (Italy);

Since 2017 he has been teaching APP-Almadanza Professional Program (BO), since 2015 regular courses in Bologna and workshops in various cities.
She was invited to teach for the Master of Theater Pedagogy at the University of Bologna. 

Since 2022 he has collaborated with OfficinAcrobatica (Bologna), weaving seams between dance and circus, he is a director and teacher for Filigrana - Artists in training, a project aimed at artistic creation for circus performers and dancers.

STATEMENT

What interests and fascinates me most is discovering through movement.

The movement is for me one of the most precious masters, I have met  so far. An infinite quantity of flavors, spices and colors nestle in it. It is a department store where I can find all kinds of food-tools. My research and practice are based on movement and dance, yet dance is not my goal, it is only the tool I have chosen to investigate the folds of the human, the landscapes it creates and the universe of to which it belongs.

For this reason, what I offer both as workshops and as shows and events is placed between the cavities of different disciplines and studies, convinced that the fascinating complexity of things can only be approached through the integration of different points of view, theoretical and practical.
