In The safe Room the four dancers expose their bodies to the repetition of an event over which they have no control. What happens to the bodies in such a situation? The work plays on specific tensions, and on what being forced into a situation, possibly an emergency, can bring out. From compression, to explosion, to the motion of love and communion, to the essence of the architecture of life, the triangular shape.
